for quality Social Dance Programs. Candidates
must have a strong desire to further the company's mission:

BDC
Instructor Certification Training Program
The Ballroom Dance Company has fast become
Greater Washington's largest dance instructional organization, but we cannot
seem to meet the growing demand for quality social dance classes, wellness programs,
and team-building activities in the DC area. The BDC is currently unable to
fulfill requests to start programs in several locations in MD and VA because
the instructor team is already fully booked. If you enjoy sharing your love
of dance with others, have an out-going personality, and can command the attention
of large groups of people, you may have what it takes to become a BDC instructor
trainee. The BDC Instructor Certification Training Program is a self-paced with
a varying tuition based on an individual's prior experience and training. BDC
Certification can open the door to limitless opportunities in dancing, competing,
teaching, coaching, event promotions, having your own dance business - or any
combination of the above. Once certified, you may join the company as a full-fledged
Member (part- or full-time), plus many other industry privileges.
BDC
Work-Study Exchange Program
Unlimited Classes, Workshops, and VIP admission to Special Events
are all FREE for the right people! The BDC needs help organizing new
classes and club nights and currently has several work-study positions available.
Train in all styles of partner dance for free in exchange for 4-5 hours a week.
Candidates must love dancing and have own transportation - reasonable availability
required, flexibility a plus. The BDC is a non-profit organization and we need
